What is Direct Primary Care?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a model of healthcare that puts patients first by getting rid of the red tape that constrains traditional practices. How? It's simple! We partner directly with our patients, instead of their insurance companies.

How is this different from a traditional clinic?
One of the biggest (and most important) differences you’ll find between us, a Direct Care practice, and other traditional family practices is the number of patients we see. Most family docs in Kansas routinely include 2,500 patients or more in their practices. Others around the country are even more packed— 3,000 to 4,000 patients! 

With Health Suite 110, you’ll be part of an intimate family practice where each physician sees hundreds of patients compared to thousands. With this solid foundation, the advantages are inevitable and plentiful.

What does the monthly fee cover?
  • In depth, comprehensive, annual wellness evaluation
  • Unlimited office visits, phone, or email
  • In office lab such as urinalysis, rapid strep test, pregnancy tests
  • Minor procedures such as minor laceration repair, EKGs and breathing treatments
  • Access to our discounted labs, imaging and medications
  • Access to other collaborative specialist services

Why Health Suite 110?
Each DPC clinic has it's own personality and strengths. At Health Suite 110, we pride ourselves on having only top-notch MDs and RNs providing primary care for ALL ages. We also provide a host of other services, not typical for most DPC practices including:
  • in-house wholesale pharmacy
  • on-site phlebotomy (our nurses are GREAT at blood draws)​​
  • many free or at-cost in-house procedures (ex: stitches, joint injections, pap smears, IUD and Nexplanon replacement, etc).
  • handheld ultrasound (helpful for diagnosing pneumonia, musculoskeletal problems, etc)
  • IV fluids and IV iron infusions
  • free virtual consults with specialists through a subscription service called Rubicon - saving you both time & money!
  • advanced cardiovascular testing via the Bale Doneen Method.
  • allergy testing and treatment via AllergyChoices sublingual allergy drops
  • all calls answered by a real-live person (either an RN or MD) - no phone trees here!

How will this save me money?
You won't have to pay a co-pay for office visits and we provide many additional services and procedures at NO CHARGE (EKG, breathing treatments, stitches, just to name a few). In addition, you'll be able to avoid many visits altogether by sending your questions directly to your doctor by email or text. PLUS, we've negotiated amazing deals for prescription medications, blood tests, X-rays and MRI/CT scans on your behalf. If we had contracts with insurance companies, we would be legally obligated to charge higher prices.

MOST importantly, since you are getting all of this amazing care from us, you can cut way back on your other healthcare costs. Most DPC patients find a health-share or high-deductible, low-premium insurance plan so they're covered in the case of a major health issue. ​

Will I benefit from direct primary care if I don't require frequent medical attention?
Of course! Everyone benefits from a service tailored directly for them. That's why we offer truly custom healthcare. We're here for you if you're sick or hurt, but we also help you proactively maintain good overall health. Every visit with us will be thorough and relaxed. The longer you're our patient, the more we learn about your health and lifestyle and the better we can help to maximize your health goals.

What happens after hours or on the weekends?

If you have an urgent need when the clinic is closed, simply call or text your personal physician & they'll be happy to help.

Does your practice bill my insurance, Medicare or Medicaid?
No. We work directly for you, providing exceptional, personal, direct health care without the increasing constraints and limitations of the government and insurance companies.

As your patient, do I still need health insurance?
We recommend you continue to have health insurance to cover health care costs beyond the services of our practice such as specialist care and hospitalization. The most cost-effective insurance to pair with direct primary care would be a high deductible/HSA plan or healthcare cost sharing program, such as Sedera.

I am uninsured. Can I still join?
Yes. We accept all patients, regardless of insurance status.

What happens if I need to see a specialist or get admitted to the hospital?
We will coordinate your referral to a specialist in your insurance network, and they will bill your insurance.

Is this the same as concierge medicine?
​The terms DPC and Concierge are often mistakenly used interchangeably, but they are not the same. Both charge a periodic fee, however under the concierge model, this fee only gets you access; that is, it doesn't actually include any of your care. Instead, concierge practices still bill insurance for your visits. Under DPC, your visits and other care are included in your fee, plus you're provided with other incredible benefits like wholesale pricing for labs, radiology and prescription medications, plus direct contact with your physician and all the rest.
